Description:
Our classic Chianti represents for us the heart of Tuscany and even more the lives of our people, our way of being and daily living. This bottle encapsulates the idea of Sangiovese of the classic Chianti lands, the great combinations at the table, ready to be drunk, conviviality and good company as it is the origin of classic Chianti on Italian tables since 1700.
A 100% Sangiovese wine produced from grapes harvested by hand in October, choosing the best grapes, with a short period of skin maceration to extract only the softer components, followed by a year of maturation in containers that have made the history of classic Chianti, that is half in large oak barrels of 25 hl and the other half in concrete tanks.
Finally the assembly, bottling and a refinement for nearly 6 months.
Its fragrance is that of a great fruit, cherry, sour cherry, violet flowers and a slightly toasted final, a memory of aging in barrels. Its taste is intense, full, rich of fruity and balsamic sensations, the good acidity gives freshness and persistence.
Serve at 18*C, excellent served with grilled meat and especially with the famous "Fiorentina" T-bone steak.
